GT500 Intercooler Update | Cooking for Autism Car show 8-17-2024
I wanted to share the cruising results of the intercooler upgrades I did. In short, it dropped temps about 10 degrees from the old system, which is a pretty nice improvement, keeping part throttle temps mid 120s versus 130s. I also was invited to a local car show, so I cleaned up the GT500 and attended, it was a good time and nice to see the local car scene. It was hosted at Stafford Airport in Virginia. Enjoy the video!

07 GT500 Cams Kooks LTH X-pipe with stock mufflers | Testing some exhaust
Просмотров 198День назад
It turns out I smoked both my Corsa Sports, not just the one like I thought and replaced, so while we await a new one, I went and tried out stock mufflers. This stock set ran me $20, so I figured it couldn't hurt. A lot of the Shelby page guys suggested it was "the best sounding," so let me know your opinion down below. We'll definitely be going back to the Sports soon enough.

@@AllThingsBoost Thanks for the reply. I have had tires where the belts kept shifting around throwing the cheap tires out of balance, and probably out of round. I would get them rebalanced, a few weeks later, they were jumping all over like they thew off the weights, but the tire guy showed me the steel belts were moving around in there. What shock extender do you have for the front? I have a 99 2wd and it's leveled and my bilstein 4600 shocks don't fit. Barely by a inch or 2. Those shock extenders would definitely make them fit.

best oil pan replacement vid I have found. Thank you. BTW, compared to most Cummins, your rig is actually really clean. Heck didn't look like it was leaking.

By legal terms oil companies that say full synthetic isn't really 100% synthetic. That's why amsoil says 100% synthetic oil and that's why I buy amsoil

Interesting. To be fair, I'm not sure how much it really matters, engines can run just fine on conventional with shorter interval changes, so weather it's truly 100% or just really well refined, as long as it has a quality additive pack, it'll be fine.
